Dede Sound Premium Bundle – Extended Oriental Kontakt Library, Now 61% Off

The Dede Sound Premium Bundle is what the v4 library grows into when ‘comprehensive’ is not enough. It extends the acclaimed core collection with rare regional instruments, expanded articulation sets and fresh premium studio recordings from across Turkey, the Arab world and the Persian tradition — Anatolian, Levantine, North African and Central Asian coverage layered onto the foundation. At $49.99 against a $129 list price, it is 61% off the highest tier of Oriental sampling available in Kontakt, aimed squarely at professional composers whose audiences can tell the difference.

What Premium Adds

The Premium tier is defined by depth where the core library is defined by breadth. Rare and traditionally significant instruments that sit outside the standard v4 set join the collection, including regional variants and historical instruments that media composers usually have to hire session players to access. Core instruments gain expanded articulation sets — new ornamental techniques, regional playing styles and dynamic performance variations — recorded in fresh sessions with professional Turkish and Middle Eastern musicians using premium microphone setups. Multiple microphone positions per instrument give you control over acoustic perspective and room character, so the same instrument can sit close and intimate or back in a scored space. Pre-recorded ornamental phrases and grace notes in authentic style are included for composers who need the gestures without the performance technique to play them note by note.

Scripting That Respects the Music

Advanced Kontakt scripting carries the maqam and makam scale support that authentic Oriental music requires, along with performance mapping designed to keep the instruments expressive under real playing. The bundle is built to integrate seamlessly with the Dede Sound v4 core library — same platform, same logic, deeper bench — so owners of the standard collection step up without relearning anything, and new buyers get the extended edition as their starting point. It requires the full version of Kontakt 5 or later and runs on macOS 10.13+ and Windows 10+ in any major DAW.

Built for Professional Screens

The use case is media work where cultural accuracy is judged: Turkish drama, Middle Eastern documentary, historically set games, and fusion productions that put Oriental instruments in the foreground rather than the background wash. Ethnomusicologists and academic musicians also use the collection when a representation has to be right, not approximate. In all of those contexts, the gap between a generic approximation and this level of recorded detail is exactly the gap between a score that convinces and one that gets notes back.

For owners of the standard v4 collection, the Premium Bundle is structured as the natural second step: same Kontakt environment, same scripting logic, same performance approach, with the bench deepened exactly where professionals ask for more — rarer instruments, more articulations per instrument, more microphone control, and broader regional reach. For new buyers, starting at the Premium tier simply skips the upgrade decision entirely. Either way, the combined coverage spans the traditions that media work actually requests: Turkish and Arabic material for drama and documentary, Persian colour for historical and fantasy settings, North African and Central Asian textures for the cues that need to sound like somewhere specific rather than generically ‘Eastern’. That specificity is the product.

The Deal

$129 down to $49.99 is 61% off the flagship tier of the Dede Sound catalogue. Premium world-music content is priced for the top of the market because recording it properly is expensive — master players, premium sessions, deep articulation sampling. This listing hands that top tier over at the price of a mid-range library. If Oriental instrumentation is anywhere near your professional work, the extended collection at this price is the version to own.
